Wow what a night. It seemed that the program that Nathan put together went out the window. At least the scouts got to cook. That was about the only part of the program that was achieved. A Big thanks to Rikki for coming along as Hathi was not feeling the best.

The scouts learnt a couple of new, old games tonight from a former scout leader. Thanks to Kingfisher. We may see more of him.
Nathan arrived early and with the help of Brent prepared the cooking fire for the night. While the scouts were playing games coals were being produced on the fire.

Mums you need to let these scouts loose in the kitchen. They need more cooking practice before our next camp. Some of the scouts need practice with cleaning up as well.

They were provided with enough cream to make whipped cream to put on their scones with strawberry jam once they were cooked.
One patrol even went to the trouble of making their own butter as well. Well done Rebecca of Koala Patrol.
Badgework
Following on from last Friday night where all those scouts attended the Rural Fire Brigade and then the hike on Sunday where there was quite an amount of badgework completed.
There was more badgework completed tonight with a number of badges being completed.
